The Show Room Gallery programming season usually runs from September through June. During this time between 6 and 8 exhibitions and/or installations are shown. NAC presents a balanced programme of work by Niagara Peninsula-based artists, artists from across Canada, North America and the world. All artists that show at NAC are paid CAR/FAC recommended artist-fees as well as travel and transportation costs.

The character of the NAC Show Room Gallery lends itself to contemporary installation work. The rudimentary nature of the space makes it extremely flexible, accommodating most any type of installation work as well as more traditional two-dimensional painting and photography. Programming priority is given to submissions that address the specific character of the space.

Niagara Artists Centre is an artist-run centre dedicated to the presentation of contemporary art in all media. Priority is given to submissions that address the specific nature of the NAC space. Submissions from artists and curators for both visual and time based art and new media works are welcome. Artists for all programmed exhibitions and installations are paid above recommended CAR/FAC rates. NAC also pays artist travel and transportation of the work. NAC designs and produces all print material for exhibitions in the Show Room Gallery.

Show Room Gallery exhibitions run for approximately 5-6 weeks. Submissions to NAC are considered by a Selections Committee comprised of members of the Board of Directors and NAC members. The Selections Committee meets twice yearly; spring and fall and submissions are accepted on an on-going basis.
