  SEED TRAY is the latest chapter of the multipart S LOWER F, an ongoing project driven by research-creation methodologies of slowness, play, healing, and deep time engagements as acts of resistance and refusal. This new installation compiles the residual works on paper from the previous four chapters as a living archive. This collection includes twenty-three new collages that consider how the practice of collage is akin to the identifying and gathering of foraging, the shaping, weeding and cutting of the garden, and the renewal of the fermenting scraps in the compost bowl.

  Becoming-World emerges from four years of walking the same route—a daily ritual rooted in the roadside ecologies of New York’s Hudson River Valley. Along this shifting ribbon, wildflowers flare and fade, wind carries seed from one season into the next, and shadows slip across a body that never returns quite the same. Through layered video and spatial sound, intimate assemblages, and an altar of dried botanicals, sustained attention gathers these fragments into a constellation of material memory, softening the boundary between self and world.

  This haiku is based on a new body of work, entitled Presence | Absence, exploring multi-sensory languages and minority forms of communication imbued with spirituality. 

  In 1845, Dr. William Moon, an English teacher from England who became completely blind as a young adult, designed an embossed typeface called Moon letters for those who lost their vision later in life and who could not learn the complexities of Braille but could still identify the familiar shapes of the Latin alphabet. Readers learned this embossed design within days, while Braille typically takes months to years to master. Unfortunately, the cost and labour to print, and the dominance of Braille made the reproduction of Moon type to become a rarity.

  Shared Weather is a storefront installation of colourful paper vessels and suspended raindrops created from recycled and repurposed materials. Spanning three windows of the Plate Glass Gallery, the work explores connection, resilience, and the experiences we share as we move through life's changing seasons.
