NAC will remain closed until further notice in response to the province’s return to a modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopening. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Screening Room & Cinema Lounge very soon. You can still visit the NAC StudioShop at 433 St Paul Street Fri & Sat 11AM-6PM and Sun 11AM-4PM. In the meantime, we wish you all the best in 2022!
COVID-19 Update / Thurs 16 Dec 2021
NAC staff and Board of Directors have all agreed that in light of the current Omicron situation, we are postponing our final three film screenings of 2021. NAC has hosted 75+ events, performances, exhibits, and screenings since July without any Covid related incidents and we really want to keep it that way!
We’ll be keeping regular gallery hours until Sat 18 Dec so you can check out David Figueroa’s exhibit in the Dennis Tourbin Members Gallery and the final instalment of V-Tape’s Curatorial Incubator in the Show Room Gallery (Screening Room).
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Cinema Lounge for more great films in the new year!

Beginning Wednesday 22 September 2021, and in conjunction with Provincial guidelines, all NAC guests joining us for indoor events and exhibitions will need to provide proof of full vaccination status.
As per section 2.1 of Schedule 1 to O. Reg. 364/20: Rules for Areas at Step 3 and at the Roadmap Exit Step (O. Reg. 364/20) under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (ROA), an official proof of vaccination receipt — displayed either on a smartphone or with a physical copy of the proof of vaccination — must be presented at time of entry into NAC, along with valid government-issued identification.
NAC’s health and safety protocols follow the latest health, safety, and cleaning measures as outlined by government agencies and health industry experts. By following the Gallery’s health and safety protocols, you are safeguarding your health and the well-being of others, ensuring that you can have a great art experience.

To fully enjoy your visit at NAC please:
