Interested in makerspace,
rehearsal space, or recording studios?

All we need is 8-12 minutes of your time!

The Niagara Artists Centre and Carousel Players have partnered to study the potential of a Creative Hub in downtown St. Catharines. The work to analyse the needs of the arts community began in late 2019 and was temporarily delayed in the first few months of the pandemic. The project is now moving forward — quickly — and evaluating interest for the following spaces is the next important step in the work:

  • Shared Makerspace for visual artists and artisans. The Makerspace could include a wide array of equipment for creators making work in wood, metal, textiles, glass, ceramics, sculpture, digital printmaking, and more; and
  • Purpose-designed Music Rehearsal Space, with soundproofing, acoustic separation and industry standard equipment; and/or
  • Purpose-designed Recording Studio, with soundproofing, acoustic separation and industry standard equipment.

We’re asking you to take a moment and tell us about what facilities and equipment you would need and use by filling out the survey here:

Survey closes Sunday 31 January 2021.
