Sweet Sixteen Film Night

Friday 17 December | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$8.85

Sweet Sixteen Film Series

Screenings from the largest and most eclectic collection of 16mm in Niagara—with 1000 titles ranging from the classics of the film history canon to infamous disasterpieces; from home movies to decades old newsreels; and including a wealth of rescued ephemeral: educational, advertising, and workplace training films. Collected over 25 years, the NAC collection now includes JC Culp’s UnPopular Arts by special arrangement. Take in the ineffable warmth and richness of experiencing the moving image on real film in NAC’s cozy Cinema Lounge.

NAC member and filmmaker Connor Wilkes leads this program.

First in series, Friday 5 November, will feature archival shorts pulled from collection on the theme of skateboarding and youth delinquency.
