It’s that fabled thing, democracy in action! At a Take A Chance screening the audience has their say about what film lights it up when the room goes dim. The evening will begin with a NAC member presenting three or four superlative cinematic offerings grouped loosely around a theme. Could be anything. Really. Trailers, short excerpts, and/or quotable critical analysis of the competing films will be shared. Briefly, like six minutes or less. Then, audience members make the call with a vote. The film that raises the most hands high hits the screen. It’s NAC’s parliament of moving pictures!
