Come see this provocative new documentary film about the resurgence of co-ops in the United States, examining the key role played by consumer-led food co-ops in the US economy. Food For Change tells the little-known story of the cooperative movement in the United States from the Great Depression to the present. This alternative economic model is presently experiencing a resurgence in response to the 2008 market crash, widening wealth disparity, and the consolidation of the food industry.
