The Mighty Niagara Film Fest and Stratus Winery present an evening of film and wine at NAC overlooking downtown St.Catharines.
Gabor is an intimate and offbeat documentary depicting the career and personal life of Gabor Szilasi, a 94- year old photographer who began his career in Canada after emigrating from Hungary in 1956. Gabor shows a singular look at photography as much as at life and old age, which he approaches with curiosity, resilience and optimism. The film is a tender and colourful portrait of an artist who has spent the last 60 years documenting the creative process and a fascinating life story.
Gabor is presented with local short film pre-show All Along the Waterfront by Barbara Worthy and Joe Lapinski.
