NAC Closes for Long Weekend

NAC closes for long weekend and The Comets head to Toronto for the Hockey Summit of the Arts!

NAC will be closed for the long weekend. Regular gallery hours will resume on Wednesday 23 April at 10 am.

If chocolate bunnies and Peeps aren’t your thing, and you are looking for something a little weirder than NHL playoffs, the Niagara Crystal Beach Comets will be making their way to Toronto to compete in the Hockey Summit of the Arts over the weekend. The tournament attracts teams with rosters made of artists/musicians/writers/actors/etc from across the country- yea really, from St. John’s to Vancouver.

The Comets last took the Frank Frederickson Cup in 2010 and are looking to regain champion status in the Eh Flat Division. The Summit also includes two nights of performances fondly referred to as The Hootenanny. NAC members James Desjardins, Adrian Thiessen, and Ryan Rivando are mainstays on the Comets.
