Old World Vulture and Paradise Animals
Friday 18 October

Go back to the late 70’s early 80’s when music was raw and emotional. This is where Paradise Animals exists. The band straddles various musical genres from the early electronics of Kraftwerk, to the punk energy of Gang of Four, the soul and funk of Curtis Mayfield, and the indie sensibility of Pavement.

Old World Vulture is a four-piece instrumental rock band based out of Toronto, with firm roots in Niagara. The band weaves elements of rock, drone, psychedelia and electronica into a pulsing swirl of melodic sound. Their self-titled debut EP was touted as a “major success” by NOW magazine.

Paradise Animals and Old World Vulture play the Niagara Artists Centre Friday, October 18th. Doors 8:30, show starts at 9:00. Admission is $5
