MNFF WEDNESDAY

The Mighty Niagara Film Festival kicks off with a Festival Launch at 5:30PM in NAC's Microcinema, celebrating the festival's fifth year with Niagara-made spirits and a screening of short 16mm films hand-processed in local wine.

The evening continues with two distinct programs: The Legacy of Cloudy Falls, screening at 7PM at Landmark Cinemas Pen Centre, a darkly comic feature set in a run-down apartment complex where a cast of eccentric tenants becomes entangled by their mysterious superintendent; and Tidal Surges: Experimental Shorts, also at 7PM in the Microcinema, showcasing bold, boundary-pushing films that challenge conventions of image, sound, and storytelling.
