Pinhole Camera Workshop

In this 5 hour hands on workshop, local artist Amber Lee Williams will guide participants in creating pinhole cameras from old tins and other upcycled materials. Participants will learn how to take exposures with their handmade cameras, and how to develop their images using plant based mixtures. This workshop will encourage thinking about ways to repurpose everyday objects into photographic tools, collecting plant matter from our surroundings, and bringing these found materials together to explore experimental approaches to photography. Participants are asked to bring an object to contribute to a collaborative still life.
