Founding NAC member the late Mike Hewko’s elegant aluminum construction from the late 1980s is reminiscent of Michael Snow’s “Walking Woman Series”. It is painstakingly assembled from sheet aluminum in the age before CNC and laser cutting technology and exhibits masterful craftsmanship. It was likely made with a scroll saw. Hewko’s work is in the collection of Art Bank, Rodman Hall, and the University of Guelph, among others. in good condition, with a shoe repair by Ramm Design Labs.
