Angie Tales of Determination
Canada, 2020. Directed by Chris Darton. 32 min. NR
Angie: Tales of Determination follows the life of Angie Sandow; born with a congenital birth defect that left her with only her left arm; she overcame adversity to learn how to play guitar and form her own band, Bare Rump an AC/DC tribute band and later Lefty and the Goons. Eventually, faced with breast cancer, Angie decided upon beating it … to live out her dream and made the decision to start riding motorcycles. Angie is a force. Overcoming everything that stands her way and exuding a personality and propensity to help others by sharing her story. Embraced by the motorcycle community, riding changed Angie’s life introducing her to a whole “new family,” one who excepted her for not based on appearance but on who she is.
