Reinventing Mirazur documents Argentinian Chef Mauro Colagreco’s life and the bold and “stateless” food he has received worldwide acclaim for. However, just as he’s established himself as the best working chef in the world, something unexpected happens – Mirazur is forced to shutter along as the COVID-19 pandemic rattles the restaurant industry. With his culinary vision reinvigorated, Colagreco and his team of chefs and restaurant managers work to put Mirazur back on the map after its forced hiatus with an ambitious reinvention

How To Say Goodbye To A Poet
Canada, 2023. Directed by by Shannon Kitchings. 5 min
Goodbye, Poet is a new short animation by Shannon Kitchings and Chance Mutuku that explores the ways we navigate changes in relationships. The poet transitions through several connections and several losses by imagining change as poetry and goodbyes as beauty.
Shannon Kitchings is a multi-discipline artist working in Niagara on Turtle Island. She uses performance, literary arts, and somatic practice to bridge gaps among people who speak different languages, come from different backgrounds, and have different comfort levels performing. For the past five years, Shannon has been facilitating the Conscious Bodies method, developed by Dreamwalkers Dance Company, as a way to offer opportunities for community building. Shannon is a storyteller, spoken word artist, singer, and creator. This is her first time working creatively in the format of short animation and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the immensely talented animator, Chance Mutuku. Shannon is grateful to share this story.
