Don’t miss the second coming of Kevin Richardson’s sweet ‘n’ condensed day of television. From daytime to late night, this program is based on Kevin’s TV GLUED (Guide), a collaged dream of cathode ray entertainment. TV GLUED is built from segments of TV captured on beta recordings from the 1980s and will be followed by a late-night feature. Max running time 2h 30min, probably less. Admission includes a TV dinner!

So, how did this happen? What possessed me?
It was the eighties, I was on the edge of being a discerning demographic, interested in a still interesting pop culture, free images of the past, last vestiges of a divine form of comedy. If I could only stop using the word was so much. TV GLUED reflects the difference these forty years have made. I love to emote poetic on this yellowing golden age. The advent of home recording, now too taken for granted to be a miracle and the eruption of new cable stations combined with old fashioned Buffalo network affiliates, provided reels of ill-defined filler.
Black and white glow, always ON like a heater, well-worn groove in the chesterfield, pop-stained pillows.
This was me making my own ideal days of viewing. My workplace provided endless glue sticks and X-acto blades. Was TV GLUED made as a sincere attempt to illustrate the vast influence this video wasteland had on me, or just a TV Groover Mc Tuber with time, recreational habits, and sticky newsprint fingers? I’ll let you guess. TV was the best of times, man! Intelligent, trashy, and stoopid. Less channels, but, full days or programming. I’d lay back and let the broadcasts (already an archaic term) saturate and marinate. If it got dull or mundane, I’d change the channel.
