STORIES FROM THE ROAD
The development of The Keith Richards One Woman Show
Tuesday 24 February, 7PM at NAC
FREE EVENT

Centre for the Arts, Brock University presents an evening with Suitcase in Point Theatre Company at the Niagara Artists Centre (NAC). The Centre is presenting “The Keith Richards One Woman Show” on March 25 (2 shows!) but this is your chance to hear all about the production from the artists and collaborators.

The evening will kick-off with reception welcoming SIP back to their hometown after taking “The Keith Show” on a month-long tour in Western Canada and will feature an exhibit from local artist, musician and Keith collaborator Kevin ‘Attic Daddy’ Richardson.

Rarely seen video footage from Stones rehearsals and concerts used in the development of The Keith Richards One Woman Show will also be shown along with original photos from taken at The Stones 1965 show in Toronto by local photographer, Denis Cahill.

An in-depth artist chat will follow with Keith creator Deanna Jones and other collaborators, recounting stories from the road and discussing the development of the piece.

Following the chat, guests will be treated to a few tunes from Kevin ‘Attic Daddy’ Richardson.

This event is supported in part by the Ontario Arts Council – Conseil des arts de l’Ontario Theatre Connects pilot project.
